More Surreal Landscapes. When the trip started I had little knowledge about Bolivia and what little did i expect. But as we got closer towards the border crossing into Bolivia, my curiosity sank in. I had never heard of the Salt Flats.
Another gorgeous scenery of the salt lakes, but this time this one is Laguna Colorado (Red Lagoon) with a pair of Lamas in the foreground. Combined with the deep blue sky, the reddish tone of the lake, and the encrusted lake bed, there is nothing but absolute clarity that lies in plain sight. Its natural wonder escapes you.
Snow caped peaks and piercing blue sky in the midst of its desolate surroundings gives a unique to Bolivian landscape.
And then there are these cactus islands in the Salt Flat region in Bolivia.
Strange, out the world, and mind boggling , nothing i had ever seen compares to this.
